Year 2

Welcome to Year 2.

We concentrate on Literacy and Numeracy lessons in a morning and on an afternoon we have Science, topic, Art and PE.

Year 2 are taught by Mrs Lofthouse,  Mrs Metcalfe and Miss Smith also works in our classroom with us.

Useful Information

PE days change every half term to allow each year group to take advantage of the specialist coaches we bring in.

Children now have a Home Journal which is to be used as a reading record, so when you read with your child fill in book titles, page numbers and a comment. Children will be given a specific day to change their reading books however if they could have reading books and home journal in school every day it would be a great help.
